Narrative Text

the experience of caring for someone who is sick

This experience happened in 2017. This story begins when my brother was taking a walk around the park near my old house. At that time there was only my brother and grandmother, I was at home with my mother. At that time my grandmother was buying my brother ice cream. Without my grandmother knowing, my brother crossed carelessly because he wanted to take the ball. Then, from the opposite direction there was a fast motorbike that accidentally hit my brother. After that, my brother suffered a fracture in his left leg. When my grandmother found out, my grandmother was very panicked and immediately called my mother. Finally my family and I went to the hospital. Arriving at the hospital, my brother was admitted to the ER, at that time all of my family were very panicked and worried. After waiting for a long time, the doctor finally told my mother that my brother had to be operated on immediately. In short, the operation of my brother's leg went well, my brother's left leg was stitched with 13 stitches. My brother was transferred to the inpatient room. Because I felt sorry for my work and my grandmother looked after the house, so I accompanied my brother to the hospital. At that time I was still in grade 1 junior high school, so on school days I took care of my younger siblings when I came home from school, if I had holidays I alternated with my mother who took care of my younger siblings. And when my school day took care of my brother until my mother picked me up at the hospital, when my mother and I came home, my brother was entrusted to the nuns who were there. As long as I take care of my brother, I take good care of it, accompanying my younger sibling to play games or watch movies so that he doesn't get lonely and feel bored. If we care for the sick, we have to be strong and we must always keep our body in good shape. So that we don't get sick too. So I always take vitamins and eat some fruit. Long story short, my brother was able to walk and was allowed to go home by the doctor. Knowing this, my family was very happy and my brother was warned not to repeat the same thing.

This is my video about my story :

Her father being a Javanese aristocrat working for the Dutch colonial administration as governor of the Japara Regency (an administrative district), Kartini had the unusual opportunity to attend a Dutch school, which exposed her to Western ideas and made her fluent in Dutch. During adolescence, when she was forced to withdraw to the cloistered existence prescribed by tradition for a Javanese girl of noble birth, she began to correspond with several Dutch friends from her school days. She also knew and was influenced by Mevrouw Ovink-Soer, wife of a Dutch official and a dedicated socialist and feminist. In her letters Kartini ...
